A Disadvantage of Open Source
Friday, January 03, 2003 One of the problems with the open source movement is that anyone can create software for the Linux platform, including some technology that should just die. I have long hated the Pick database system for many reasons, some perhaps visceral. I hope the project's leader will see the light and find a more productive venture for his enthusiasm.
